Brand perception and brand ambition can sometimes be miles apart from each other – which is understood by Crocs very well. Crocs is way to often seen as a outdated or cheap brand. We tried to shift this perception by entering into unexpected partnerships with bold and outspoken artists and influencers. The result? The most unique Crocs ever.
Crocs created a unique design in collaboration with Little Big, a satirical punk rock group from Saint Petersburg. The result? A bold new pair of Crocs.
Rough, strong, metal Crocs, with the Little Big roller skate Croc as unique extra. It was all shown in Little Big’s new music video and released in an eye-catching social campaign.
A success. Within an hour, all 2,000 unique Little Big x Crocs were sold. It meant we weren’t attracting the masses, but a particular hip new target group that were revaluing Crocs. A change of perception. Need we say more?
